Based in the beating heart of the UK games industry (Leamington Spa, Warwickshire), I’m Nathan Flannery, an experienced lecturer and teacher of Games Development, Games Design, Interactive Media, Media & Communications, Film Studies and Computer Science. My specialist areas of lecturing include project management, quality assurance, indie games development, hyper-casual games development, games design, games theory, and advanced film criticism.
I’m also a Master’s Degree student of Indie Game Development and I’ve been involved with apps and games production, such as project managing an AR Experience, and developing indie game prototypes. Aside from games, I’m also an avid cinephile, and enjoy discussing film with anyone who will listen! I also love to travel, with a particular fondness for Japan, and I’ve been to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka so far. I also maintain a modestly successful podcast, where I’ve interviewed games industry devs like John Romero, and am a very active member of the Instagram gaming community.
